You are all cordially invited to the launch of

Hook Heritage Interpretation Project – 'Historic Hook'

by the Rt. Hon Andrew Percy MP

at St Mary's, Church Hook, East Riding of Yorkshire DN14 5PN

on Friday 2nd May at 2.30pm

Historic Hook is the name of a project which helps people know about, understand, appreciate, preserve and use the historic sites of, and stories from, the history of the village of Hook, in the East Riding of Yorkshire. It consists of some external display boards, some moveable displays – available for use at events, some educational leaflets and a website. The boards and leaflets contain summary information. The website contains summary information and in depth insight. Initially the project concentrates on three of the oldest sites of the village, includes other sites and is intended to cover more over time. Anyone is welcome to help and contribute towards this project. Please contact the team via the website: - www.historic-hook.org

It is expected that the launch will last about ½ an hour
after which there will be the opportunity to look at the materials and sites
and partake of light refreshments.

We are particularly grateful to our funders, our voluntary contributors, the owners of the sites
and Mr Chris Rock graphic designer for their work on and for this project.
