Spring has Sprung!!!!

What a Beautiful Day so off to the allotmet we went.........

Had to pot on 300 geranium, 15 tomato plants and  14 strawberry plug plants  that had arrived this week. A couple of volunteers re assembled the polycarbonate greenhouse glazing that had got blow out over the winter.  The Shed got a Spring Clean!! and the allotment got a good general tidy round!

We fixed the automatic window opener on greenhouse in anticipation of the lovely sunny weather that (usually) comes with Spring!  Also discussed what wanted digging and where the 1st early potatoes want to be planted this week!

Just got our date as Monday 19th April for the Spring Judging day for Yorkshire in Bloom!!!!! 4 weeks 2morrow!  wow lots to do and it'll be here before we know it!
